The Droving

A Film by George Popov

Wesley Curry II

The Four Handed Part

Wesley Curry II has been making short films for three years. The Four Handed Part was his first short film and was played in London at an Art Gallery Film Festival (Filmmakers Film Festival). Another of his films was accepted after submission to the Pinewoods Studio's First Time Filmmakers Festival.

Wesley's films tend to be surreal, or train of thought "stories", with some showing his dry sense of wit.

Last Call

Film by Gavin Booth

Shot in two true single takes, filmed simultaneously in two different parts of a city, Last Call, is a real time feature presented in split screen showcasing both ends of a wrong number phone call that has the potential to save a life.
Last Call follows a suicidal alcoholic on the anniversary of his son’s death. When he attempts to call a crisis hotline, a misdial connects him with a single mother working as the night janitor at a local community college. The split screen feature showcases both characters in real-time as they navigate a life-changing conversation.

"Last Call" is an astounding film that takes viewers through a prodigious amount of emotions. From the filming in split screen to the phenomenal performances of the actors, "Last Call" is undeniably a film that stays with you long after it's over". ---The Indie's Nest
