Having worked and written with the likes of Paul Worley, the legendary producer of the Dixie Chicks, and Jay Joyce, CMA producer of the year, Montgomery releases her debut solo Album “Awakening” May 1st.
Melissa has written and recorded with some of the best in Nashville and is releasing an album that makes you feel like coming alive for the very first time. Her pop sensibility is so authentic it carries into her music seamlessly and creates a sound that is all country but uniquely, “Melmo” (the name her close friends call her).
In “Awakening”, Melissa gives us an intimate look into the inner workings of her mind. Her soaring and authentic vocals are matched only by the incredible attention to detail in her writing. She is a true country artist and “Awakening” is a genuine boundary breaker in the genre.
“Im a brand new fan of her music. Having heard her for the first time a few weeks ago her music is exactly what any fan of country will enjoy listening to. She has an amazing voice.”
