Haley Heynderick, is Portland Oregan based indie/ folk singer and song writer. Though born in Stockton California, Heynderickx grew up in a religious household in Forest, Grove Oregon where she began singing in church. She graduated from Portland State University. 

   Heynderickx released her debut EP, Fish Eyes, in 2006. In March, 2018 she released her first full length album, I Need to Start a Garden, which received many positive reviews. Heynderickx's music features a finger style acoustic guitar technique paired with introspective lyrics. She has a wide array of influences such as her Filipino- American upbringing, folk music from the 60s and 70s, jazz radio, and the distinct acoustic guitar styles of Leo Kottke and John Fahey.
